So the cat is out of the bag!
Well, we said this year would be big, now we have a plan and sure enough, it's going to be big. We are planning on moving to Logan Utah! Yes I know, colder, worse winters, small Mormon community, no big town shopping, no friends or family close by, etc. etc. But look at the bright side, school will be within walking or biking distance for ALL of us, small Mormon community, long winter drives to work through the mountain, everything is within the free bus system, free rec center activities for USU attendees (and families) Education for everyone, and canyons, camping, parks galore! Housing is cheaper, roads are flatter (good for riding bikes and scooters). What an adventure this will be. Ken and I are excited to get our geek on and LEARN. What will we learn? Anything and everything. We are ready to be sponges and absorb as much as we can. We are ready to get back to basics and get an education, again! Life is about learning and growing, and when we are not doing these, we are not truly living! We have gotten to a place in our lives where we are not being fulfilled by all the playing and toys that we have let define us. These things do not push us to our limits and make us grow, so we are selling all our toys and dedicating the next two years to learning everything we can! Yes, Ken is going to school to get his MBA and I am hoping to earn an Associates degree. Meanwhile, Lexi will move on to junior high this fall (instead of Davis county where she would still be in elementary) and Zac will be in first grade. Ken will continue to work for Home Depot at the Ogden location. Yes his commute will be a little longer, but he says he is excited to do more driving in the mountains and snow! We are looking to move sometime before this coming Fall so that we can get settled before school starts. Not sure yet if we will sell our Farmington house, rent it out, or Lease to own. If you know of anyone in the market for one of these three options let us know!!! As for Logan, we thought it would be best to be close to school and it would help us focus more on our goals, education! So I think that about covers all our crazy plans, but feel free to call if you have more questions!
Much Love!
